|Two Pool Worlds
Bubbly carefree faces
Buoyant smiles follow frolicking echoes.
Brother and sister are again best friends.
“My girlfriend wants to have tacos,
but church choir, all must attend.”
Playing tag, their joy is shameless.
Homework’s done, the whole night is free.
“I wish she’d come to know Jesus.
My parents say this is too messy.”
At pools, family love always grows.
Sibling-play makes home-life flower.
“Hell, I’m going to have tacos.
Braces or not, only one more hour!”

Prompt: d’Verse Poets Pub ask us to do some people watching and “capture of few of them” in daily life. This prompt popped up on my phone while getting ready to swim at the YMCA with my kids (yep, that is them). So I quickly snapped some photos, talked to the life guard and then jumped in the pool.
